Olive Wood Arabian Prayer Bracelet

Beaded bracelet made of 6mm inlaid black stripe olive wood and black agate beads. Handmade in California.

These beads found their way to Africa when the Arabs invaded in the eighth century and established trade routes with the wealthy kingdom of Ghana in modern day Mauritania. These beads are some of many that have traveled from other parts of the world and now circulate or were recently sourced from Africa.
